Mid pale yellow with a bright green hue. Lemon, Lime and a very gentle hint of Gin and Tonic like botanicals lead into subtle Gardenia aromas. Gentle Kaffir Lime notes adding some depth and complexity. With juicy acidity the palate is seamlessly balanced with underlying sweetness. A perfect match with that Green Curry or Prawn Laksa with plenty of Chilli

After the resent drought culminating in the 2020 bushfires, the wet winter and spring of 2020 was a welcoming relief. The soil and the vines were given a much need reprieve and while the financial pressure the Hunter’s Vignerons endured tested everyone in the Valley the crop yields for the 2021 harvest were a small win. With grapes delivering record yields, it with the Growers with the knowledge and experience who got those crops ripe. Vineyard health and good management saw Bonvilla harvesting grapes in top condition with excellent flavour. Semillon and the other whites look exceptional and while the Reds are lighter framed, they will result in some classic medium bodied Hunter styles.

There is a gentle Kaffir Lime notes adding some depth and complexity. The magic of this wine really happens on the palate with juicy acidity seamlessly balanced with underlying sweetness. The result is vibrant silkiness that carries the lemony citrus flavours in a continuous flow of generosity.
