We stay true to our Hunter Valley location, specialising in single vineyard wines, planted over 30 years ago and embodying the rich heritage of the Hunter Valley, where in 1832, James Busby Returned from Europe with 20,000 vine cuttings and was vital in helping establish the Hunter Valley as a key wine region and in turn vital in establishing Australia as a grape-growing country.

Our prized white wine vines are on the lower slopes of our estate, home to some of the most valued varietals in the Hunter Valley, CHARDONNAY AND VERDELHO, benefiting from the unique microclimate of the Hunter Valley, where warm days and cool evenings provide the perfect conditions for grape cultivation. This ideal combination of soil and sunshine imbues our wines’ distinctive flavours, complexity and finesse.
Next to our Cellar Door are our esteemed SHIRAZ and SEMILLON blocks, our MUSCAT has a prime position basking in the sun next to our orchard and Mulberry tree. Here in the beautiful landscape, our vines thrive and capture the essence of this renowned wine-making region. Our wines proudly display the distinctive qualities of these classic Hunter wines.
